Did you know that our embroidery panels are printed in full colour onto pure cotton fabric, ready for you to "colour-in" with stitches as you please?
The idea is to cover the flowers, leaves, or any other detail in the design with embroidery stitches to build texture and colour. The beginner can use simple stitches to fill in the painted areas. The more advanced embroiderer can use any stitch they like to enhance the design. There are very few rules here - just do as you please and embroider your masterpiece. We include pictures and instructions in our kits to guide you as you work. The stitches and colours are merely suggested; always feel free to use your artistic license!
When purchasing the panel only, use the painted detail on the embroidery cloth as a guide to choose your colours and cover the flowers and leaves with as many or few stitches as you like, and this will enhance the detail. Not even one completed design will look the same as another, allowing for your unique creation.
Our kits come with instructions and colour pictures to guide you, along with stitch diagrams. All the ribbons, threads and other components are included along with the needles. This makes it just so easy to create your masterpiece. Our kits are an ideal way to learn how to perfect this beautiful form of embroidery.
