Hello! Today I have something special to share with you. At BATB in Adelaide Australia, I was fortunate enough to meet an extremely talented silk ribbon embroidery teacher, Karen Fraser. Karen attended my workshops and was kind enough to help me teach silk ribbon embroidery to many students in the class. We have become good friends!
Karen is a superb embroiderer, a kind teacher with a sense of humour that had us all in stitches and I really enjoyed the times that we spent together ♥

Karen teaches a series of workshops at Piecemakers Country Store in Costa Mesa, California. I am not sure when her next workshops will be, but I will let you know as soon as I have dates in the future.

She made this beauty (titled Little House and Chicks) from one of the Dicraft kits, and I love it! It's a special piece, I have the original in my lounge and never get tired of looking at it. The colours and the textures in this piece are so rich and pleasing, I hope you will enjoy making this lovely piece as much a Karen did.
