Blog > Dicraft Closing Down – Final Clearance

10 April 2026

I have some sad news today.

I am having to close the product operations of Dicraft and soon my ribbons, kits and panels will no longer be available. For the past 6 months our sales have declined sharply due to U.S. import tariffs that were implemented in August 2025, and since the largest part of my market is in the USA, continuing the manufacturing side of the business is no longer feasible.

As we prepare to close, we’re offering final clearance prices on all remaining stock and would like to extend a big thank-you to everyone who has shopped with us, everyone who has supported us over the many years of operation. We are so grateful for every workshop, every purchase, and every kind word you’ve shared.

Crafting brings people together, and you’ve been a huge part of my story.

I do intend to continue designing and producing digital patterns and instructions, so I won’t be disappearing completely, but soon you will not be able to get the products we always had.

Final stock clearance starts today and will continue for a few weeks (probably until end of April to mid-May or soon thereafter) until every order has been processed. Due to high demand, order processing may be slower than usual, but I want to reassure you that we will work as fast as we can. We are a small, specialised team and every kit, panel and ribbon is made with care. We do appreciate your patience with us.

I just wanted you to know ahead of the time. Please order what you need from my website or let us know if you're interested in any ribbons, kits, threads or embroidery panels before they’re gone.

Currency conversion

For anyone interested in seeing prices in a currency they are familiar with…

On my website, use your computer mouse to hover over English | USD in the top left and select your currency and language from the drop-down menu.

On your mobile, tap the three lines on the right, tap on English | USD and pick your option from the list.

For example, South African Rands is at the end under ZAR. When you check out, the currency will be in US$ but your bank will convert it into your currency on your statement.

We have a new kit for you! The final kit from Dicraft - designed to

Sorry to hear you’re closing. I am currently working on one of your panels, ‘Bench in a Rose Garden’ and loving it! My one regret, if I had to name just one, is that I wasn’t quick enough to get ‘A lovely little rose tree’ kit or even just the panel. Thank you for sharing your wonderful inspirations with… the world! (I’m responding from Sydney Australia)
Each project expresses your passion for the craft, your skill of artistry and your thrilling creativity. Blessings to you and your team in your future endeavours. Darelle

I so love your beautiful panels & kits! I so look forward to seeing all your new items & specials every month. Age is / has caught up to me so
Am extremely slow at completing projects these days. I wish you all good health & happiness & do hope that perhaps you will once again be able to make a comeback.
    Sincerely..

    Dear Di,
I am so very sad to hear this news. I’ve been a long-time admirer of your beautiful products and work. You were the first to introduce me to ribbon embroidery and stumpwork and I’ve had the privilege of being able to purchase a handful of your kits over the years. Stitching your dreamscapes has given me many moments of serenity and joy. I pray that this is just a blip and that someday you will bring to the world once again your exquisite ribbons and threads.
    Warmest and best wishes,
    Eileen
