  Greetings to you from Newlands in Cape Town! Today I have some delightful little birds to share with you by Lisette Root from Southern Oregon in the USA.   Click on the images to enlarge     Lisette wrote to me:   "Hello from beautiful Southern Oregon, USA! I sure love opening your emails; I know there will be something beautiful to see every time :) I love all forms of needlework and beadwork, as well as many other kinds of arts and crafts. I am focused in on beadwork at this time; I am working hard to meet a deadline for a beading contest.   After that I am going to start planning and working on projects to share in the ribbon embroidery competition I read about on your blog —  it is very exciting to find people who love the same things I do!     I am sending you a few pictures from one of my crazy quilts in progress, birds are one of my favorite subjects — I am so happy I discovered your lovely work!
