Our studio will be closing for the holidays on 13 December. Please note 11 Dec is the last day for orders to be placed for processing in 2023. However you are still welcome to place your order anytime for processing as soon as we return on 9 Jan 2024. This way you will be ahead of the queue next year. Happy Holidays ❤️

Blog > Feather Stitch

Feather Stitch   Feather stitch is a good choice for shrubs and hedges and fills up detail quickly. Best used with one or two strands out of the six-strand threads for landscape designs, it is worked the same way as fly stitch but, instead of making a single stitch, insert the needle to the right and then to the left as shown. Remember to keep the thread under the needle as each stitch is formed.        Feather Stitch   Stitch diagram is © Metz Press and Di van Niekerk 2018.
