Woven Filling Stitch 


This stitch is ideal for baskets or any woven shape like a jersey.
Use perlé no 8 or 12 threads.
Form foundation stitches in straight stitch, stem stitch, split stitch or use back stitch for larger shapes.
Weave the needle in and out of the foundation stitches, as shown.
Hint: Keep a loose, even tension throughout for a smooth finish.
