Lornie Street's beautiful piece
Hi everybody! I have something to show you which will surely brighten up your Monday!
By Lornie Street who lives on a game farm in South Africa.
This is her rendition of Bottom's Up or Children on the gate from my Dreamscapes book. Don't you think it's gorgeous!

Don't you love the way Lornie filled in the trees and grass in the background and foreground? And that doggie... he is too precious!
Look at the way she made the children's clothes!
I asked Lornie to tell us a little more about herself and on December 1st she wrote:
"Hi again. I forgot to tell you my story. I am 65 years old today! I live on a game farm with my partner Pieter. We breed black impala. The farm is 65km from the Botswana border. My background is in advertising. Now retired, but never stop with my arts and crafts. I'm still a beginner with my embroidery. More of a painter. You can view my art on Facebook under Lornie Street."
Thank you Lornie for sharing your talent with all of us. For those who have my Dreamscapes book and would like to make any of the designs in the book, you are welcome to mail us on info@dicraft.co.za
Have a good week everyone. We are busy with the competition entries that were sent in for the SRE competition 2018 and I am in awe of the talent that I see before me! The winners will be announced in January 2019 and to stay in touch, you are welcome to subscribe here.
Have a good week, Stitching World
Love
Di
