Blog > Handmade by Annie Plum

Hello stitching world! It's a beautiful sunny day in Cape Town and I thought you would enjoy seeing these special hand-stitched labels by Annie Plum from Hoekwil on the Garden Route in South Africa.   Fig and rosemary jam... Tomato and chilli chutney, pickled chillies, tomato chutney, tomato jam.... don't they all sound delicious?   South Africa is well-known for its preserves and I love Annie's idea of making hand-stitched labels for handmade treats.     Click on the image to enlarge Hand made by Annie Plum    and for sliced pears and spiced pears...   pear labels     Here Annie is showing you where she will use her label...   pear label     I  love them Annie and I am sure many stitchers across the world will too!  Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us ♥   L - 3   L - 2   Annie wrote to me: "  I love quilting, sewing, doll-making and embroidery, and I like to use mixed mediums.   I use my sister Mirra’s drawings for ideas.
