Blog > Gorgeous stumpwork trinket boxes

Hello everybody ♥ Hope you are having a good week. Today I have beautiful stumpwork to show you by Margott Jenek from Regensburg, in the south of Germany. Margaret (or Margott, as she is known) is originally from Poland and she loves stitching, especially dimensional embroidery and cross stitch. Don’t you just love her trinket box?    1 by Margott Jenek from Regensburg Germany   And here is another from close-up.   2 by Margott Jenek from Regensburg Germany   Stumpwork or dimensional embroidery is created by making the shapes on a separate piece of fabric and then these are cut out and applied onto the design to form life-like petals and leaves. Margott has a wonderful talent. Here are more examples of her work…    3 by Margott Jenek from Regensburg Germany     And…    4 by Margott Jenek from Regensburg Germany     And don't you love her ribbon embroidery?      5 by Margott Jenek from Regensburg Germany   Here is more inspiration for you...   6 by Margott Jenek from Regensburg Germany   and this one too.
