Hello everybody, it’s nearly weekend and to inspire you I have gorgeous ribbon embroidery to show you by the very talented Kristina Nilsson of

Kristina wrote:
"Thank you for all ribbons and panels. The parcel arrived on Friday. Tonight my husband and I are driving about 800 km to Stockholm with all embroidery materials. I'm one of 170 exhibitors on the big fair "Syfestivalen". I hope I can inspire a lot of visitors. Give you some pictures of my latest work. Your Jill Kirstein panels are wonderful and such a joy to embroider."

Don’t you just love her work? Kristina used colours from my range of ribbons, and the Jill Kirstein panel, which she sells in her store.
Kristina wrote to her students and customers on her Facebook page....
"I wish you all a very creative and inspiring year filled with embroidery.
I started my 2015 with the panel "Fuchsias, Roses & Delphiniums" by Jill Kirstein bought from Di van Niekerk.
Some of these panels are for sale in my web shop for Swedish customers.
I have used a mix of silk ribbons, raw silk thread and some mouliné thread. There are no descriptions of stitches and materials for these panels so you have to use your own creativity.
Hope you enjoy it!"
