My favourite needles are the Piecemakers' needles
I was fortunate enough to meet a talented teacher, Karen Fraser, when I taught at BATB in Adelaide last year. Karen attended my workshops and was kind enough to help me teach the silk ribbon embroidery techniques to many of the students in the class.
She is a superb embroiderer, a kind teacher with a sense of humour that had us all in stitches and I really enjoyed the time we spent together ♥

"RES" Ribbon Embroidery and Stumpwork "Happening"
The beautiful floral masterpiece is worked on a silk print created by Di van Niekerk. Combine ribbon embroidery and stumpwork to create an exciting dimension. Learn to create balance and dimension using silk ribbon with embroidery threads such as silk, cotton, rayon and perlé cottons. By special request, this exquisite project will be taught in two concentrated " 3-Day Sessions" for those from out of town or those who just want to focus on this project during these 3-day workshops.
