Blog > The Flower Seller in Silk Ribbon Embroidery

It's the weekend again! Today I want to show you this lovely rendition of the Flower Seller in silk ribbon embroidery by the talented Christine Chan from Arcadia in California. Don't you think it's lovely?

It's from the painting by Victor Gabriel Gilbert (1847-1933) known as the Flower Seller in front of the Madeleine Church.

Here are some close-up details

I love the colours! And look at how she made the yellow flowers in the background and the Hydrangeas, I think they are gorgeous Thank you, Christine!

If you would like us to pack a kit for you with all the ribbons, threads, the embroidery panel and the colour picture, you are welcome to have a look here.

For the panel and the colour picture, have a look here.

Happy weekend, stitching world! This is where I am going tomorrow to see the wildflowers.

Will post some new pics on Instagram.

Stay safe.

Love

Di
