Good afternoon stitching world ^•^ I have a new concept to show you today which may inspire you to make a lovely gift for yourself or for that special person in your life... a lustrous sling | clutch bag with silk roses on felted wool and silk. Click on the image to enlarge
This bag is one of the projects in our new book, titled " The art of felting and silk ribbon embroidery" by Di van Niekerk with Toody Cassidy.
It was such fun to make! The handle was crocheted with mercerized cotton and then silk ribbon was woven throughout to create a very interesting effect.
You will learn how to make wild medallion roses with silk ribbon and how to make dimensional leaves and a rose bud.
