I thought I would inspire you and show you some stunning ribbon embroidery pieces that were made in the studio of the talented teacher, Michelle Lilley from Pretoria, South Africa. Here are some of her student’s masterpieces…

This beauty (above) is by Rolene Bosman from the studio Michelle Lilley in Pretoria. We named it WHLE25 (Country Garden). Don’t you just love it?
Rolene used simple stitches and worked with my range of silk and organza ribbons to create the texture. I just love how she put the colours together, don’t you?
Have a look at this beauty below (known as the lady with the Horse design, also named WHLE27) was superbly embroidered by Pal Roebert from the studio of Michelle Lilley Pretoria. Love it!
