Blog > Greetings from Québec, Canada

Hello stitching world :) I received this lovely e mail from a talented embroiderer, Gilberte Beaudin from Québec in Canada. Her letter is in French and I will translate it into English for you...   Framed behind glass: Juliet in a field of Nasturtiums Juliette in the field by Gilberte Beaudin     "Bonjour! J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à broder le tableau "Juliette in the field......... Avec toute mon amitié,   Gilberte Beaudin   Québec, Canada"     Gilberte Beaudin Quebec, Canada     And translated into English, I am so proud of Gilberte to see what she has accomplished!   " Hello!   I still have fond memories of our meetings in Adelaide (BATB) and Cape Town. It was my first contact with ribbon embroidery and especially with someone as talented as you. I'm still a "fan" of this type of embroidery. I hope we have the opportunity to see us one day at an exhibition somewhere not too far from Canada.   I had a lot of fun to embroider the panel: Juliet in the field of Nasturtiums.   I attended an exhibition and my work has been selected as" favourite "among the participants.   Unfortunately, it was too late to participate in your contest. I look forward to the release of your new book. It will surely be as interesting as your "Roses" book. I am a follower of your blog and I visit you regularly on Facebook.   All photos of Cape Town that you look remind me of wonderful memories. I also have fond memories of Hazel with a small embroidered cap.   With all my love, Gilberte Beaudin Quebec, Canada"   Juliette in the field._.3     Congratulations dear Gilberte - I hope to see you in Canada in 2015!   Enjoy your day everyone Love Di
