Hi Good Morning! I have another gorgeous piece to show you by the super-talented embroiderer, Desiree Coetzee from the Tsitsikamma on the Garden Route in South Africa.

I asked Desiree to write a little something about herself and her embroidery journey and she replied:
 
"In 1994 I bought my first book on silk ribbon embroidery and started with only a few small projects. Only after gifted a few printed panels and joining embroidery classes I seriously stepped into the beautiful world of silk ribbon embroidery. I fell in love with this art, and it became my passion, and it still is today. 
 
In 2018 I moved to the beautiful Tsitsikamma on the Garden Route. Considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, Tsitsikamma means "water in abundance". When surrounded by the Tsitsikamma mountains, the sea, protected indigenous forests, ancient trees like Yellowwood and Stinkwood and fynbos covered landscape, you cannot be anything else than grateful.

Therefore, it is with a grateful hart, appreciative of the splendour around me and the ability to do such fine work, that I truly enjoy every minute spend in front of my embroidery stand."
