Cheryl started the business after coming over from Canada 20 years ago.Ristal Threads is located on the outskirts of Australia’s National Capital city Canberra. They bought a new warehouse about three years ago in the little town of Murrumbateman, which is only 20 minutes away. Murrumbateman is surrounded by wineries and is well-known area for cool climate wines.Click on the images to enlargeThe pub is straight across the road from their warehouse so in a stress emergency is great! HaHaCheryl has some great ladies working for her: Linda, Merrilyn, Helene and Jackie.Merrilyn is an expert needleworker and one of the top Japanese embroiders in Australia. She has completed all levels and will be teaching the Japanese embroidery and Japanese beading – such an amazing skill.Jackie is also a needleworker and does Japanese Embroidery. Merrilyn looks after their extensive range of linens that come in from all over Europe.They also have a black toy poodle ‘Moe’ who comes to work every day and keeps an eye on all of them!They have a group of between 25 to 30 ladies who meet at their warehouse every Wednesday and stitch together – as they have done for many years.Their group is simply called ‘The Stitching Ladies”.The Australian shops are welcome to contact Ristal Threads for any of my products :))Their details:
