The lovely Ballerina in Silk Ribbon Embroidery by Armineh Khanbabian from California
Don't you just love this lovely piece? I asked Armineh to write a little about herself and this is what she wrote:
Hi Di,
I am a retired educator who saw a beautifully framed embroidery on a colleague’s wall.
In 2014 my friend introduced me to Mania BADMAGRIAN, the master and great teacher who lit the love of embroidery in me.
That was the beginning of this journey. This pandemic deprived me of meeting with my embroidery friends, but it didn’t stop me from doing what I love.
I made this design for my granddaughter who is a dancer and has long curly hair.
Please feel free to share my work.
I wish everyone in this world a safe and healthy life.
Armineh
Inspirations Magazine, the world's most beautiful embroidery magazine, will soon be restocking this lovely kit, so keep a lookout for it!
