This lovely ribbon embroidery kit with gorgeous pink lilies has everything you will need to make a cover for a journal. It makes a beautiful wedding gift, and it is a perfect project for any memorable event (like an 18th birthday) or a precious book.

Embroidered by the talented Karen Nell from Sedgefield on the Garden Route, this journal cover will delight friends and family alike!

This project will fit on a standard-size journal, diary or moleskin which is A5 size (approximately 14 cm x 21 cm or 5.5 x 8.26 inches).

The pattern is printed onto an heirloom cotton fabric in full colour (so it's easy to stitch) and is large enough to fit onto the front and the back cover of the journal, plus ample seams all around.

THIS KIT CONTAINS:

The Lily design is printed on pure cotton in full colour, large enough to cover an A5 journal 15 x 20cm (5.91 x 7.87 “)

Cotton backing fabric, the same size as above

50cm x 30cm soft cotton fabric for the inside of the cover

All the needles you will need

6 Skeins of thread

4 packets of Di van Niekerk’s Silk Ribbon

Also, the instructions, stitches and colour pictures are provided as an e book to serve as a guide.

Please note: To save on shipping, the journal is not included, but you will find one at your stationery or book store, as it is a standard size for journals, moleskins or diaries.
