I have made a gorgeous kit and it’s a perfect size for anyone who would like to start with a small project.
Titled "TEA in the GARDEN", it's a most enjoyable kit. It's quick and beautiful, it has a lot of texture and the colours are picture-perfect.

Tea in the Garden is round and it fits perfectly in a 6 inch (15 cm) hoop. Once embroidered, it can stay in the hoop to be admired by many. Or you could frame it with a round mounting board or turn it into anything that needs a circular design.
The kit contains the threads and silk ribbons from my range of ribbons, the linen panel with the design printed on it, all ready to embroider. Also included, is the woolly fibre which I explain in the step-by-step instructions, the needles, the voile backing fabric, a 6 inch (15 cm) wooden hoop, a stitch guide and a colour picture for close-up details as you stitch.

6-inch wooden hoop

The printed panel in full colour (on pure linen) to fit in a 6" hoop (23 cm or 9"square)

Soft cotton voile for backing the same size as embroidery panel (23 cm or 9" square)

DMC and Maxi threads x 18 shades

White metallic thread x 1 card

Di van Niekerk's silk ribbons. 7 x 2mm and 5 x 4mm Total of 12 packets of beautiful ribbons - 3 metres in each packet

Woolly fibre (soft green)

Miyuki Beads #15 dark navy, brown or black x 36 beads

Needles x 2 packs of John James Needles
