  ◕‿◕  Good morning everyone — it’s a beautiful sunny day in Cape Town ♥   To brighten up your week I will show you picture-perfect Poppies in silk ribbon by the multi-talented: Valentina Razenkova from Saint Petersburg, Russia.    Valentina sent me this landscape masterpiece to share with you … do have a look at the background!   Click on the image to enlarge         See how she has embroidered onto sheer organza fabric?   Click on the image to enlarge     The tree and foliage in the background was embroidered first, and a second layer placed on top, to create an illusion of distance in the design.     And see how Valentina made the house and foliage on this side and placed another layer on top?
